5 Arraigned on Murder Charges for Baruch Student’s Hazing Death

(DNAINFO)  Ethan Harfenist | October 22, 2015 — Prosecutors arraigned five members of a dissolved Baruch College fraternity Thursday on criminal charges, including third degree murder, over the death of student Michael Deng, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s office.

Charles Lai, Kenny Kwan, Raymond Lam, Daniel Li and Sheldon Wong were all charged with murder in the third degree, aggravated assault, concealing or destroying evidence, providing false information to law enforcement, simple assault, involuntary manslaughter, criminal conspiracy and hazing, the Monroe County DA said.
