62 Affordable Units Coming to Hell’s Kitchen, City Says
(DNAINFO) Gwynne Hogan — The city is currently accepting applications for the 62 new affordable apartments in a West 43rd Street development.
Paperwork is due by Nov. 10.
For half of the units, located at 535 W. 43rd St., preference will be given to people who already live in Community Board 4.
Studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments are up for rent for households making between $29,932 and $69,050 a year.
There are 23 studio apartments, most of them for people earning between $29,932 – $36,300 annually for a price $833 a month.
Another 23 are one bedrooms that will rent at $895 a month for single tenants who earn between $32,092- $36,300 or two people with a combined income of between $32,092 – $41,460.
