7 Train Service to Shut Down for Two Weekends in LIC Next Month

(DNAINFO)  Jeanmarie Evelly — More pains are in store for 7 train riders next month.

Service on the line between Manhattan and Queens will be suspended for two weekends in November as the MTA continues work on a number of ongoing construction projects, according to an update on the agency’s website.

There will be no trains between Queensboro Plaza and the new 34th Street-Hudson Yards station during the weekends of Nov. 6-9 and 13-16, according to the MTA.

Shuttle buses will operate between the stations, while straphangers looking to get between the two boroughs can take alternate lines, including the N, Q or R trains from Queensboro Plaza or the E, F and G trains from nearby Queens Plaza.
