(CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR NYC) November 2, 2018 — (CITIZENS COMMITTEE FOR NYC) November 2, 2018 — I am pleased to inform you about the launch of the new Chelsea & Hudson Yards Innovation Grants, which will award funds to organizations, agencies, and projects that deliver improved or expanded services to Chelsea or Hudson Yards residents. The application deadline for this first cycle of grants is December 3, 2018.

This grant program is being funded by the new West Side Community Fund, which has been established by a group of 19 businesses and firms located in the Chelsea/Hudson Yards districts in conjunction with Citizens Committee for New York City, which will manage the grants initiative.

Priority areas: Youth and underserved populations

Neighborhoods served: The Chelsea and Hudson Yards area to be served is between 14th and 38th streets. Please see the map for boundaries.

Grant levels: Micro Grants (up to $2,500), Mid-level Grants (up to $5,000), Large Grants ($5,000+).

Eligible Applicants: include neighborhood organizations, block and tenant associations, non-profits, city agencies, schools, health clinics, NYCHA projects, police community programs, religious institutions, homeless facilities, etc. Individuals, such as teachers, are also eligible to apply.
