Bernie Sanders-Hillary Clinton Debate Not Open to Public: Organizers

(DNAINFO)  Nikita Venugopal | April 14, 2016 — Getting tickets to the Brooklyn debate between Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton might be harder than you think.

Sanders and Clinton have agreed to a debate at the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouseon April 14, but the event will not be open to the public, Navy Yard spokeswoman Michelle Friedman said.

“Tickets to the debate are not available to the general public,” Richard Hudock, a spokesman for CNN, told DNAinfo New York in an email.

Sources said each candidate will receive a private allocation of tickets to Thursday night’s showdown that will be televised live on CNN and NY1.
