There are currently 121 affordable units on the market in Brooklyn, ranging from newly constructed studios to renovated four-bedroom apartments with rents as low as $494 for a studio in Greenpoint.

But deadlines are looming: applications for new units on 21 Commercial St. are due Feb. 3 and those for apartments in Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Williamsburg, East New York, and East Flatbush need to be in by Feb. 4.
