(DNAINFO) Shaye Weaver | August 2, 2016 — Icon Realty Management filed plans for the Upper East Side tower on Monday.
A 30-story apartment tower with a basketball court and yoga studio is planned for the corner of East 80th Street and Second Avenue, records show.
Developer Icon Realty Group filed plans for the new building at 1538-1546 Second Ave. on Monday, including 63 apartments in a variety of sizes and wide range of amenities and retail on the ground floor, according to the plans.
The lot was previously home to a row of townhouses with local restaurants including Nancy Lee’s Pig Heaven, Cascabel Taqueria and Johnny Foxes before they were demolished last August.
Amenities in the new tower will include a basketball court, a yoga studio, a gym, a children’s play room, a game room, a party room, a lounge and storage, plans show.
