Applications Open for $650 Apartments in Low-Income Crown Heights Rentals

(DNAINFO)  Rachel Holliday Smith | April 22, 2016 — Part of the new “Concern Bergen” complex is reserved for people with psychiatric disabilities.

Applications are now open for dozens of apartments for low-income residents in a new affordable housing complex in Crown Heights that will also serve as a home for adults with psychiatric disabilities, its developer said.

Concern for Independent Living, a Long Island-based supportive housing provider, said “Concern Bergen,” its new 90-unit building at 1552 Bergen St. near Utica Avenue, will open by September, according to an announcement made through Brooklyn Community Board 8this week.
