Cuomo Plans to Pardon Nonviolent Inmates Convicted as Minors

(DNAINFO)  John Santoro | December 21, 2015 — Approximately 10,000 New York state residents convicted of a crime when they were minors could be eligible for a pardon, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.

Cuomo said he will pardon individuals convicted of a misdemeanor or non-violent felony when they were 16 or 17 years old, so long as they have not been convicted of any other crimes for 10 years.
