(DNAINFO) Lisha Arino | December 21, 2015 — A neighborhood synagogue is being gutted to make room for luxury condominiums going for $2.95 million to $4.395 million, according to the developer.

The five-story project, located at the former Adas Yisroel Anshe Mezritch synagogue at 415 E. 6th St., will build three residential units while leaving room on the ground floor for the still-active congregation, as first reported by the New York Times.
