How to Find Your Polling Site for Tuesday’s Primary Election

(DNAINFO) Amy Langfield | September 11, 2017 — Polls will open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday for New York City’s primary elections, featuring races for the offices of mayor, Brooklyn District Attorney, the public advocate and numerous City Council seats.

Here’s the Board of Election’s how to find your polling location guide, which will also give you a personalized sample ballot when you click “ballot information” and your party affiliation.

The New York City Campaign Finance Board offers an online nonpartisan Voter Guide here.

You can check online to find out if you are registered to vote.

Oct. 13 is the deadline to register to vote in the general election on Nov. 7.

If you have problems voting, you can call the state’s Office of the Attorney GeneralElection Day Hotline at (800) 771-7755 with complaints. You can also file a civil rights complaint with the Attorney General’s Office at (212) 416-8250, via email at  civil.rights@ag.ny.gov or online.
