(DNAINFO)  Teddy Grant | July 3, 2017 — Apartments in an upcoming, 11-story, mixed-use building in Fordham Heights are now available through the city’s affordable housing program with apartments starting as low as $882 per month.

The 94-unit property at 2264 Morris Ave. will offer low-income, moderate income and supportive housing, according to developers Bronx Pro Group and Services for the Underserved.

Rents for units will start at $882 and go up to $1,740, depending on the size and income of the household.

Only 62 of the units in the building will be eligible for the subsidized affordable housing program. There are 23 one-bedroom, 25 two-bedroom and 14 three-bedroom apartments available for families, according to NYC Housing Connect, the portal for New Yorkers to apply to various affordable housing projects around the city.

Applications for units opened Monday and are available to households earning between $32,195 and $110,700.

The building will have amenities such as a laundry room, hardwood floors and limited parking. Half of the units available are for residents of Bronx Community Board 5, who are given preferential treatment.
