(DNAINFO) Maya Rajamani | February 1, 2017 — Empire State Development unveiled new post-expansion renderings of the convention center.
A design team has been tapped to carry out a planned $1.5 billion expansion of the Jacob K. Javits Center.
A joint venture between New York City-based Turner Construction and Australian builder LendLease submitted the winning proposal for the project, according to Empire State Development, which owns the convention center.
Empire State Development also unveiled new renderings of the project.
