(DNAINFO) John Santoro | March 9, 2016 — New York City will host nearly 60 million tourist visits in 2016, setting the city’s seventh annual tourism record in a row, NYC & Company, the city’s marketing arm, announced Wednesday.
Of the total 59.7 million visits expected, 47 million visits will be from domestic tourists, the agency said, while 12.7 million will be from abroad.
This year’s projected total is an increase over 2015’s number of visits: 58.3 million.
