This is your absolute last chance to have a say in the direction this country takes over the next four years.

If you’re planning to vote in the nationwide general election this November and haven’t yet registered, you have until Friday, Oct. 14 to sign up.

Registered New Yorkers throughout the state will have the opportunity to vote for the next president of the United States on Nov. 8. They can choose among four tickets: Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine; Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence; Libertarians Gary Johnson and Bill Weld; and Green Party candidates Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka.

New York voters will also elect one member to the U.S. Senate, with incumbent Democrat Chuck Schumer facing off against three other candidates in the race.

Voters in seven congressional districts in New York City will elect candidates — one per district — to the U.S. House of Representatives.

On the Nov. 8 ballot there will also be candidates for the New York State Senate and the State Assembly.
