(DNAINFO) Noah Horowitz | April 1, 2016 — One man has broken into at least nine Manhattan buildings since August, according to a police report.
Police are on the lookout for a man they say has been behind a half-year burglary spree across Chelsea and Midtown.
The suspected burglar has hit businesses and offices, striking mostly in the morning and evening and targeting computers and other electronics, police said.
The suspect was last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes, a black cap and carrying a book bag, police said.
The burglar first struck on Aug. 10 at about 7:52 a.m., when he strolled in the front door of a commercial building at 114 W. 26th St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues and swiped laptops from several offices in the building, according to a report.
