Clear Your Warrants for Low-Level Crimes Without Fear of Arrest in Harlem

(DNAINFO)  Gustavo Solis | November 16, 2015 — If you got a ticket for pot possession or public urination and missed your court date, the city is giving you a chance to resolve your warrant without fear of being arrested.

On Tuesday District Attorney Cyrus Vance — along with other elected officials, the NYPD and Legal Aid — is scheduled to announce a “Clean Slate” warrant forgiveness event. This is the first event of its kind in Manhattan this year, according to the DA’s office.

The event will take place Nov. 21 at the Soul Saving Station Church in 302 W. 124th St. Anyone with warrants connected to summonses — such as littering, disorderly conduct and trespassing — in all five boroughs are encouraged to attend.
