The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying the following individual wanted in connection to a sex assault within the confines of the 77 Precinct.  The circumstances are as follows:

On Saturday, May 23, 2015 at approximately 1800 hours, the 59 year-old female victim was on a park bench on Eastern Parkway when she was approached by the suspect and engaged in conversation.  The suspect then led the victim to an apartment building on Albany Avenue after the victim stated she needed to find a restroom.  The suspect then directed the victim into the basement of the apartment building and proceeded to choke her and sexually assault her while in the basement stairwell.  The suspect then brought the victim into the basement and again choked the victim until she passed out and then again sexually assaulted her.  The suspect then fled to parts unknown.  EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

The suspect is identified as follows:   Male, black, approximately 60 years-old, approximately 5’10”, approximately 200lbs.  The suspect has a Caribbean accent and has a scarred and discolored eye.
