A man hung out the window of his moving car in the Holland Tunnel and hacked away at another vehicle with a machete Wednesday, police said.

Joel Estevez, 29, was arrested Thursday on charges of assault, criminal mischief and weapons possession, according to a Port Authority Police spokesman.

Estevez was driving a 2013 Honda stationwagon when he got into an argument with a 49-year-old man in a 2013 Toyota near Varick and Broome streets approaching the tunnel about 10:15 p.m., police said.
