(DNAINFO) Anton K. Nilsson and Aidan Gardiner — A foot doctor was injured by a strip of spikes that fell off a building and hit her on the head Monday afternoon, officials and colleagues said.

The woman, who co-workers identified as Dr. Christina E. Tsim, was struck outside 6 Bowery, near Doyers Street, about 1:10 p.m., an FDNYspokesman said.
