Score a studio for $500 a month in former Public School 186 on 145th Street.
The city’s housing lottery will start accepting applications for 78 affordable units, ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, this Friday. The $48 million project is expected to open in June.
Amenities at “The Residences at PS 186” include a live-in super, a video intercom system, laundry room, elevators, a community room and a bike room, according to the public notice.
Half of the units will be set aside for Hamilton Heights residents and 5 percent will be set aside for city employees.
Rents start as low as $508 a month for a studio for someone making between $18,000 and $24,000 and jump to $1,000 for a two-bedroom for people earning between $37,000 and $41,000.
