Here’s What Streets Will Close for the NYC Half Marathon This Weekend

(DNAINFO)  Kastalia Medrano | March 18, 2016 — A swath of streets in Manhattan will be closed to make room for runners of the half marathon on Sunday.

The 13.1 mile-long United Airlines New York City Half Marathon takes place March 20, with runners starting at East Drive in Central park, winding through Times Square and the Battery Park Underpass before crossing the finish line at Watt Street.

The first wave of runners will launch at 7:30 a.m., followed by a second at 7:45 a.m. and a third at 8:10 a.m.

The following streets will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Department of Transportation:
