Man Falls to Death After Climbing Four Seasons to Take Photos, NYPD Says
(DNAINFO) John Santoro and Aidan Gardiner | December 31, 2015 — A man fell about 9 stories to his death from a high-rise hotel he and a friend were climbing Thursday night to take photos, police said.
The 20-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, had climbed exterior scaffolding to about the 51st floor of the Four Seasons hotel at 57 E. 57th St., near Park Avenue, with a teenage friend when he slipped about 11:15 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
The man fell about nine stories before landing on a set-back roof, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
