Man Gropes Woman in front of Her East 89th Street Home, Police Say
(DNAINFO) Shaye Weaver — Police are searching for a man who groped a 25-year-old woman as she was about to walk into her Upper East Side home, NYPD said.
The suspect approached the woman in front of her apartment on East 89th Street near York Avenue and grabbed her butt and crotch at roughly 4 a.m. on July 18, police said.
He then fled down the street toward York Avenue, police said.
Police described the suspect as about 28 to 35 years old, standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, and weighing 190 pounds.
The man, who was caught on surveillance video, was last seen wearing a Yankees hat, a blue T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
