Man Who Slipped Pick-Up Note Into Woman’s Pants Pocket Arrested, Police Say

(DNAINFO)  Noah Hurowitz  — An ill-mannered attempt to get a woman’s attention landed her admirer in jail.

A man followed a woman from the New York Sports Club on 23rd Street for two blocks and then slipped a hand-written note into her back pants pocket, touching her butt in the process, police said.

“Do your legs make you feel omnipotent?” the man asked in the missive, according to the criminal complaint from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.

The woman was walking away from the club at 113 E. 23rd St. when the man approached her outside of 307 Third Ave. at roughly 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 22, police said.

The woman reported the incident to police, saying that she recognized the man from the gym. Police waited for the man at the 23rd Street club the next day and arrested him at 9:53 a.m., according to officials.
