More Than 100 Firefighters Battle Harlem Apartment Blaze
(DNAINFO) Aidan Gardiner — More than 100 firefighters tried to extinguish a fire in a Central Harlem apartment Monday morning, officials said.
Smoke poured from the windows of 47 W. 129th St., near Malcolm X Boulevard, after flames broke out about 7:10 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
About 106 firefighters were trying to extinguish the blaze about 30 minutes later, officials said.
There were no immediate injuries, officials said.
