Police Pull Man From Times Square Subway Tracks After Fall, NYPD Says
(DNAINFO) Maya Rajamani | December 17, 2015 — A trio of police officers helped save a man who fell onto the tracks at the Times Square subway station Wednesday by signaling an oncoming train’s driver with a flashlight and then scooping the man off the rails, the NYPD said.
Lt. William Moore and Officers Richard Aponte and Anthony Tufano were checking bags at the West 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue station about 7 p.m. when they heard a woman shouting about a man who had fallen onto the tracks, according to police.
