Pulaski Bridge Dedicated Bike Lane Project Back on Track, Pol Says

(DNAINFO) — Construction of a dedicated bike lane on the Pulaski Bridge is back on track after officials initially predicted the work would be delayed until next year, a local elected official said.

Assemblyman Joseph Lentol, who for years has been advocating for the bike lane on the bridge connecting Greenpoint and Long Island City, said in a statement Thursday that theDepartment of Transportation will start work on the lane Sept. 14.

It could be finished as early as this year, he noted.
