TriBeCa Condo Board Discriminates Against Chinese Resident, State Says

) Irene Plagianos | November 27, 2015 — A TriBeCa condo board has barraged one of its residents with racist comments, unlawfully trying to push her out of the building because she is Chinese, according to a lawsuit filed by the state.Members of the board of TriBeCa’s Spice Lofthouse, a 6-story building of multimillion-dollar apartments at 165 Hudson St., have made repeated “disparaging and discriminatory” comments to Hanying Liu, according to the suit filed by the New York State Division of Human Rights on behalf of Liu on Nov. 12.
