A sleeping straphanger on the 7 train realized every New Yorker’s worst nightmare Sunday when a giant rat climbed onto his neck and woke him up, video shows.
The passenger was asleep with his head buried in his arms when the rat began scurrying on his lap around 3 a.m. near the Hudson Yards Station, according to the video posted on Instagram.
The man let out “quite a high pitched scream” when he realized he had become the rat’s playground, Antony Lin, who filmed the video, wrote on Instagram.
